Another substitution at Cahill & 70th 2009 planter purchased from Wagner's Greenhouse after the original coleus died of planting shock. Comments to follow: grew 15"x15" but unsatisfactory; lots of flower heads to pinch, too many to grow it again. Compare to advertising photo.
The first week after transplanting was an extremely tough situation for all of our plants. The ground soil was very dry and the first three days were hot and windy. We will be cautious of conditions in the future and make prudent adjustments in preparation of beds (deep watering first) and timing of transplanting.
